ESPN moving on from the Pettite stuff

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/spring2008/news/story?id=3273954
Glad to see ESPN, Baseball Tonight and Peter Gammons have moved on with Pettite just because he threw a couple good innings. I cannot however. This guy is still a terrible role model, and the fact of the matter is that Pettite only came out and said what he said about his own HGH use, and the stuff about Clemens because he was forced to. Plain & simple. The man had no other choice, it was that or go to jail in the long run. Not a very difficult decision. The thing that is sad is that MLB and the New York Yankees are allowing this guy to still earn close to 16 million dollars this year, when he probably will be a 10 game winner if he is lucky.
